The Hangman

          

Our project was a classic hangman game.

PLAY

The play button sends the player to a new page, where the player's name has to be submitted. After that the player can choose the level.

LEVELS

Easy - endless lives, hints, words can be as easy as 1 or 2 letters long or more complex, no score tab.


Medium - 20 lives to start with, a hint costs 1 life, minimal word lenght is 6 letters, score tab (single game).


Hard - 10 lives to start with, a hint costs 1 life, minimal word lenght is 11 letters and if the score is in the 10 all time highest scores, it will be added to the score table. In case the player's score becomes #1 on the score table, the player will be informed of that result. Each guessed word equals 1 point.

SCORES

10 best scores of all time are kept in a text file, which is updated in the end of the hard level game.
